The Garden Apartment self catering is located in a quiet lane just off the High Street in Wanborough near Swindon*. There is very little traffic and the only noise you are likely to hear is from birdsong or children playing on the nearby village green.
The accommodation was built in 2001 and consists of a centrally heated one bedroom apartment with a large living room incorporating a kitchen area. The accommodation is fully equipped for up to 4 people and inspected annually by "Quality In Tourism" the assessment service by "enjoyEngland" who have awarded a 3 Star rating.
There is a luxury bathroom with big shower enclosure. A double bed sleeps two people and there is a leather sofa that converts into a further bed for two more people. When you need to do your laundry there is a utility room (shared with the main bungalow) with free use of the automatic washing machine and tumble dryer.
Although there are lots of things to do nearby, within the apartment you will find a selection of books, indoor games and an electronic games consul for those quieter moments. A space for your car will be reserved on the driveway. Should you need to keep in touch BROADBAND INTERNET is included. There is a wired workstation for a faster more reliable connection or you can use our wireless service if you prefer.
You have direct access to the garden through sliding patio doors and a raised decking area with a picnic table for eating outdoors on those warmer days. The garden was once part of an orchard and we are regularly visited by Green and Spotted Woodpeckers, Sparrowhawk, Goldfinches and Squirrels.
